Tahoe Weather
Never too hot, never too cold…Tahoe’s weather is almost always just right. The area receives an average of 300 days of sunshine every year, and the summers here are warm and dry. The temperatures rarely climb above 80 degrees, so you can comfortably spend a day exploring forest trails on horseback or swimming in the pure Tahoe waters. At night, the temperatures drop down into the 60s, so there’s no need for air conditioning – just open a window to let the cool breezes in. Winters are also warmer than you might think. Despite the large amount of snow Lake Tahoe receives, its winters are not bitterly cold. Pull on some mittens and a good winter coat, and you should be able to comfortably stay outside for most of the day, with periodic hot chocolate breaks of course.
